Cletus M. McCarty

Cletus M. McCarty, 84, of Palm Harbor, Florida passed away peacefully Tuesday, June 22, 2021. Cletus was born in Richmond, Virginia on July, 25, 1936. She lived in Florida from the late 1950's. Cletus enjoyed spending time with her family, going to the beach, and eating at her favorite restaurant, Dogs and Suds. She was preceded by her daughter, Beverly Darley. Cletus is survived by her brother, Marvin Miller and wife, Cheryl Miller, daughters, Karen Darley and her husband, Terry and Linda Knight and her husband, Ronnie, grandchildren, Jaime, Jason, Jake, Kasey and Kelly, and great-grandchildren, Elizabeth and Brantley. Cletus will be remembered as a kind hearted person who cherished her family. She will be missed dearly by her family and friends. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Suncoast Hospice in her memory. The family kindly requests that if you do send flowers, please do not send lilies, as several members are allergic to them.
