George Kevin Elliott

Elliott, George Kevin of Dunedin, FL passed away, at the age of 66, on January 1, 2022. Kevin was born March 3, 1955, in Hillsboro, IL to the late John R. and Margaret (nee Nimmons) Elliott. While studying Radio- Television at Southern Illinois University- Edwardsville, he found his best friend, Kim (nee Shaw) and they were married in 1979. Together, they raised their beautiful daughter Anne. Kevin spent a trailblazing career in communications and video production, creating his own production company, working for the St. Louis Blues, and designing programs for many leading companies in a broad range of industries. Recognized by a St. Louis Emmy award, Kevin brought his creativity and keen sense of fine design to everything he touched including woodworking, cooking, decorating, and automobile restoration. Kevin's most important job, though, was that of father, and his proudest accomplishment was always his dear daughter Anne. Kevin is survived by his daughter Anne Elliott; beloved son-in-law, David Franklin; his true love, Kimberly Shaw Elliott; his devoted brothers Mike (Vicki) Elliott and Tim (Aby) Elliott; several nieces and nephews; and his loyal Greyhound, Firefly. A Celebration of Life Services will be set for a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Kevin Elliott to Provident Behavioral Health of St. Louis (providentstl.org) or Gold Coast Greyhound Adoption, Gulf Coast Chapter (gulfcoastgreyhoundadoption.org) are appreciated.
