Oh Bubba, I will miss coming to your house and seeing you. Did we ever tell Monica about the never ending drink of hers? For hours, she thought she was sipping on same beverage. Little did she know, everytime she looked the other way, more beverage was added to her glass! Good times, great memories! You will always be remembered as a gentleman, wonderful Husband and Daddy! Oh, and the grandchildren and great-grandchildren, best Papa ever! And by the way, don't be spreading my nickname! You and few others know it. I will truly miss you, Big Guy! Enjoy your fishing!
I remember always wanting to go over and hang out with Nana and Popa. Even if it was just me. I had to get quality time with my grandparents. I would sit around the living room and watch whatever was on the t.v. with Popa. Every time he would get up to go do something he would pat my head and tell me "Your ugly, your feet stink and nobody loves you." Then one day I finally said "And that makes you a nobody." I was the first grandchild who finally got that. Its sad to see him go but God said it was his time and no one could stop it. I love you Popa, forever and always, you nobody.
My father-in-law was one of a kind. He and I like to mess with each other, I would tell him that he was the Bear in the Big Blue House and of course I was the damn redneck. I was so lucky to be part of his life and I will truly miss having him to joke with. Love ya Steve
How does one pick “a best memory” when it involves someone who gave so many? But if I had to pick an overal memory, it would be that my uncle and his wife -Monica- have a love for one another that I can only hope to achieve in my own personal life. To watch them with each other, always brought happiness to my heart. You will be missed, but your memories will always bring us together. <3
Steve was a wonderful person, accepted my family into his home many times. He will be missed by all who knew him. Of that I am sure.
