Nancee and her late husband Ed - a fellow aviator - were special friends who always made us welcome in their home. As one of nine children myself it was a special delight to see ever-present Slattery family children supporting their parents. We were privileged to hear Nancee's memories of life in Washington and Ed's flying stories whenever we visited. Rest in Peace, dear lady.
