Adam L. Grafton's Obituary
Adam L. Grafton, 48, of Largo, FL passed away Saturday, February 24, 2024. Please, please absolutely no flowers due to family allergies.
Adam Lynn Grafton was born September 29, 1975 in Tyrone, PA. He grew up in Clearwater and graduated from Largo HIgh School. Adam had a passion for education and learning. He graduated from ITT with straight A's. He went on to earn his Bachelor's degree in Business Management and Organizational Leadership, then continued on to get his Masters degree from Louisiana State University in Health Administration. Adam was always eager to learn and continue his education, with plans to get his doctorate. Adam volunteered immediately and took the lead on every group project throughout his college career.
Adam's hobbies included fishing, golfing and spending time with family and friends. Adam was an avid Lightning hockey fan and loved music of many genres, traveling to concerts near and far. When we think of Adam, we think of loud music, his laugh and his love for craft beer. He always had a smile to share. Adam adored his cats and over the years he had his fur babies Milo, Momma Cat, Chewy and Chloe, who were rescues. Adam enjoyed joining friends for trivia night, Fantasy Football season and occasional card games.
Adam worked for Baycare for over 17 years and enjoyed his career, Equipment Planner/Construction Design. He will surely be missed by so many of his co-workers at Baycare that have reached out to us.
Adam made a lasting impression on so many people that will never be forgotten. Here are some things that those who knew him shared:
"Adam had a smile that would light up the entire room and gave the very best hugs."
"Adam had the most amazing sense of humor."
So many people referred to Adam as "the kindest person they knew".
"Adam was just a truly great guy!"
"Adam was a quiet guy, kind, with a sneaky sense of humor. An absolute sweetheart"
Adam was affectionately referred to as "the favorite child" by his siblings. They would tease him often and he just chuckled and did not mind at all being called "the favorite". He only laughed and enjoyed the attention.
There are literally no words to describe how much Adam will be missed.
Adam would have wanted his parents and his siblings to know that there was no greater gift than the family he had. Growing up in such a loving home squeezed so much life and joy into his 48 years. He would want Amber, Brandy and Robert to know that he would not trade their childhood for anything. He would want Amber, his twin sister to know that they will always have that special twin connection, no matter where they are. He would want his mom and dad to know that he loves them so much and it is going to be fine. He would only want a few tears cried for him and then he would want everyone to get back to the Grafton antics. He would want to be kept on the family group text.
Visitation will be held at Moss Feaster Funeral Home on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at noon, followed by a service at 1:00.
