Adam C. Sechrest's Obituary
SECHREST, Adam, 42, of Oldsmar, FL, died Feb. 7, 2023, after a sudden illness. Adam was born in Asheville, NC, on April 3, 1980, but grew up in Clearwater, FL. He was a 1998 graduate of Clearwater High School, where he was in the National Honor Society, a leader in the band and was selected by the school district and the City of Clearwater to be a student ambassador to Japan in 1997. He attended St. Petersburg College, Georgia Tech and the University of Florida, where he majored in aerospace engineering, was listed on the President's Honor Roll and was a member of the Tau Beta Pi engineering honor society. At the time of his death, Adam was Chief Operating Officer and co-owner of ARCW Insurance in Pinellas Park, FL. He was a participant in the C12 Leadership Program for CEOs and business executives. Survivors include his mother, Diane Steinle, and brother, Scott Steinle, both of Clearwater, FL; father, Gregg Steinle, of Winder, GA; maternal grandmother, Vera Hines, of High Point, NC; longtime companion and partner Virginia Gutierrez and her children, Vanessa and Yahir, of Oldsmar, FL. Funeral services will be private.
