Worked with Al at CTC and golfed with him in the IGL golf league. After Al retired, we partnered in the golf league and every Thursday he would ask if I worked that day and did I pay my FICA tax? Of course I said yes. He would then give that patented Al smile and reply "that's good to know... my social security payments will keep coming!". We'd both laugh. I always enjoyed spending time with Al. He was one of the kindest, nicest people and always treated others with respect. He will be missed but his memory will always bring a smile to my face.

I can remember way back when I was still a boy and Al was courting Betty my
sister. He used to take an interest in
what I was doing and was a real positive roll model for me. When I moved to Clearwater, we had fun
Playing tennis and enjoying each other’s company. I recall so vividly
his enjoyment of life and family and his
deep devotion to his faith in Jesus
Christ. I have nothing but love and respect for Al my brother in law. He was more like the brother I never had.
