Andrew Nicker II, passed away peacefully at his home in Clearwater, Florida, on July 26, 2026.
Andrew was a devoted father, loyal friend, skilled craftsman, and hardworking provider whose life was defined by his unwavering dedication to his family. To his children, he set the standard for what a loving and committed father should be. Although he worked six days a week throughout much of his career, he always made time for the people who mattered most.
Andrew spent 35 years working for Chrysler, where his strong work ethic, mechanical expertise, and innovative mind earned the respect of those around him. His passion for automobiles extended far beyond his profession. He loved working on cars and treasured the time spent helping his son build his first car, a 1971 Dodge Challenger. A natural inventor, Andrew held a patent related to automotive engine components and was known for his ability to solve problems and create practical solutions. Long before automatic toothpaste dispensers became common household items, he had envisioned the concept himself.
Nothing brought Andrew greater pride than his children. He never missed a baseball or softball game, award ceremony, or important milestone. He encouraged the values of hard work, perseverance, and education. His support helped guide his son toward a career as a physician, while his daughter earned a Master's Degree in Business and was recognized as an All-American collegiate softball pitcher during her junior year. He celebrated every achievement as if it were his own.
Proud of his Italian heritage, Andrew cherished family traditions and believed that time spent together was life's greatest blessing. Alongside his mother, he taught his children the art of making homemade pasta and traditional Italian sauce, lessons that became treasured family memories passed from one generation to the next.
Andrew was also known as the person who could fix anything. Whether repairing, building, or creating, there seemed to be no challenge too great for his capable hands. His talent, creativity, and willingness to help others left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.
Above all, Andrew will be remembered for his love of family, his generosity, his determination, and the example he set for his children. His legacy lives on through the values he instilled, the knowledge he shared, and the countless memories he created with those he loved.
