Anna V. Cyphers' Obituary
Anna Victoria Cyphers, 104, of Brandon, Florida, passed Saturday, November 27, 2021. She was born in Philadelphia, PA.
Anna served her country in the US Army.
She served during WWII as motor transport operator in Washington DC for 11 months and in New Guinea, Philippines and Australia for 17 months doing general clerical duties.
After WWII, Vicky lived in Pennsylvania and New Jersey up until the 70’s when she moved to Dunedin, FL with her husband Richard Cyphers.
She owned and operated a travel agency with her husband and enjoyed hosting group vacations for many years, especially cruise vacations. She traveled the world well into her 80’s.
She was an avid sports fan who loved the local teams, Bucs, Rays, and Lightning. She also loved college football and basketball, and in her younger years would travel to live PGA tour events.
Anna was a dedicated member of Emmanuel Community Church in Palm Harbor since the 1990's.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Eliza Klein; husband Richard Cyphers; son, Jimmy Irons; granddaughter, Patricia Reed; brothers, Gene Klein, Bobby Eahmen and Louis Klein and sister Edith Wadsworth.
Anna is survived by her sons George Reed and Jack Irons; 9 grandchildren;
14 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
