Anna C. Martinson's Obituary
ANNA CATHERINE (GARCIA) BARRY/MARTINSON was born on June 7th, 1918 on the beautiful island of Key West, Florida to her parents, Amelia and Pierre Garcia. She had one brother, Frank Garcia and three sisters, Elizabeth Padron, Jennie Donaldson and Gloria Benedict, all have deceased and she is the last in her family! Anna married Harold Barry and had five beautiful children who she loved very much, Vincent Barry, Leon Barry, Theresa Barry(deceased), Cecilia Curry and Duane Barry. Anna raised all five children by herself working very hard and was extremely devoted to her faith in God….Anna was a very devote Roman Catholic. Anna remarried later in life to Donald Martinson and remained married until his death in June 2011.
Anna has 11 grandchildren: Colleen Sleicher, Donna Lewis, Virginia Gross, Leon Barry II , John Barry, Michael Barry ,Katrina Welch, Cynthia Ard, Christina Curry, Christopher Barry and Michael Barry.
……..and 14 great grandchildren:
Robert Gross Jr, Nicholas Gross, Christian Ard, Ryan Ard, Chelsea Ard, Brian Steven Lewis(deceased),Alexandra Lewis, Brady Lewis, Matthew Barry, Alan Barry, Avery Barry, Mia Barry, Hayden Barry and Phoebe Barry. Anna loved her grandchildren very much and all of her great grandchildren. Anna was loved by everyone she met….she was loved very much by her children and will be missed………Love and kisses to our Mother!
