Anthony D'Ippolito's Obituary
On Friday, May 22, 2020, Antonio “Tony” D’Ippolito, loving husband, father of two children, four
grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, was called home to be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ,
at the age of 90.
Tony was born on October 25, 1929 in Guardiagrele, Chieti, Italy to Domenico and Genoeffa (Dell’Oso)
D’Ippolito. He married Louise Borelli (who passed away in 2016) July 4, 1954 and came to the US in
January of 1955. They had two children, David D’Ippolito and Jennifer D’Ippolito Galati. He was
determined to make a better life for himself and his family. He went into business and prospered, yet he
never lost sight of where he came from. He was compassionate, kind, caring and giving. He loved his
family and the United States and always thanked God for his blessings. His family and many friends
would attest to the kind of man he was.
He is survived by his son David and daughter Jennifer, daughter-in-law Angela and son-in-law Ben. His
grandchildren Christopher D’Ippolito, Nicole Marcantonio, Raychel Machado and Anthony Galati. His
great-grandchildren Nico, Luca and Micah Machado and John and Mia Marcantonio, and his many nieces
and nephews. A memorial service will be held at a date to be determined, due to the current situation. In
lieu of flowers, the family would request donations in Tony’s name to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of
