Arthur D. "Pat" Booth Jr's Obituary
Arthur D. “Pat” Booth, Jr. passed peacefully on March 13, 2021 at his home at the age of 95. He was a loving husband to his wife Ellen for 68 years, until she passed almost three years ago. Pat is survived by his two daughters Ellen (Kit) Sweeney, and Suzanne Cuthbertson, and son Arthur D. “Chip” Booth, III, but lost his other daughter Catherine Morris almost 4 years ago. He is also survived by two sons-in-law, his daughter-in-law, 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren (with # 16 on the way soon), many nieces and nephews, all of whom will miss him dearly. Pat was very much a family man, who did anything and everything for his beloved family. He was a successful business man specializing in commercial real estate and investments. He was born in Detroit, MI, and was a World War II veteran, serving his time of duty in the Pacific theater in the Army Air Corps. He moved to Florida in 1971, and lived in the same home in Clearwater since then. He was a life member at Countryside Country Club, and was an avid golfer. He enjoyed traveling, and for all that knew him, had quite the sense of humor. He will be remembered at Moss Feaster funeral home on Monday, March 22 from 6-8 pm, and Mass at Light of Christ Catholic Church on Tuesday, March 23 at 10 am. Due to COVID concerns, the family asks for all attendees to please wear masks, and practice safe social distancing, but air hugs are appreciated and welcome. Donations may be made to Suncoast Hospice
