Arthur E. Constine Jr.'s Obituary
Arthur E. Constine Jr., quietly departed this life October 1, 2023, at his home in Dunedin, FL. He was born to Arthur and Irene Constine on April 10, 1930, in Keene, NH. Where he grew up on Charles Street and graduated Keen High School. He then joined the US Army Air Corp., serving our country in the Korean War from 1948-1952, achieving the rank of S/Sgt. He graduated from Keen State College in 1957 and later received his master's in mathematics from the University of New Hampshire.
While he wore many hats from serving as a Policeman in Connecticut to delivering bread for Pepperidge Farm, these were only part-time pursuits. His passion and full-time career were teaching. For 40 years he touched the lives of countless people as a beloved teacher of mathematics. He retired from Pinellas County School System in 1995, but continued teaching as an adjunct at St. Petersburg College for 10+ years. He loved to read history, poetry, and the classics. He loved the beach and in his younger years he enjoyed sky diving.
His generous spirit and wonderful personality will forever be remembered by his family who loved him dearly. A celebration of his life will be held November 12, at 3 PM at Fred Howard Park in Tarpon Springs, FL, Shelter #5. Please bring your favorite side dish or dessert.
He was predeceased by his sister, Glenna Nelson.
He is survived by his wife Marsha Constine, son David Constine, stepson David Sheppard, stepdaughter Stacy Nechyba, God-daughter Joanne Yardley, sister Loraine Fowler, and 11 grandchildren.
