My mother and I were reminiscing when your parents lived across the street from us in New Bedford. While my parents would do finishing work inside the house, your dad would often come over to offer them a cool drink. They appreciated his kindness. As a young teenager at that time, he would often have me address his company's Christmas cards. He had a way of making people at any age feel important. He kept his home and yard meticulous. I remember he would often relax on his front porch and enjoy his pipe.
