Aurore Brouillette Benoit's Obituary
Rosanna Aurore Brouillette was born in Central Falls, Rhode Island on December 29, 1917, daughter of Ovilla and Aurore Brouillette of Central Falls, Rhode Island. She graduated from Notre Dame Catholic School in Central Falls. In 1940, Aurore married Louis (Louie) W. Benoit, and she raised seven children. As well she worked as a volunteer and member of various charities and guilds. Aurore was fun loving and quick witted, she loved music, was an avid reader, and expert at solving crossword puzzles. Aurore was much loved and respected not only by her family, but by many who knew her. She will be dearly missed. Aurore was predeceased by her husband, Louie, brother, Leo, and parents. She is survived by her children, Constance Latour; Diane Benoit; Raymond Benoit and wife, Rosemary; Suzanne Kabbaze and companion, Philip Bartrum; Richard Benoit; Patricia Cox and husband, Richard and Renee Harris; 16 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren; and extended family.Memorial service will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Dunedin.In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Alzheimer's Association or Suncoast Hospice.
