Barbara C Bliss' Obituary
In Joyous Celebration of the life of Barbara C. Bliss, 81, of Seminole, Florida:
Beloved mother, cherished sister, endearing aunt and grandmother, and Radiant friend to many around the world. Barbara made her transition during a rare astronomical event; that of a full moon occurring during the summer solstice. An active meditator, Barbara traveled around the globe and enjoyed experiencing different cultures and learning about ancient civilizations. She had a special affinity for Egypt, which she had visited four times.
She was known for her great generosity, selfless service, and compassion. She also was known as a great caregiver of cats...both hers and those of others.
Born in Oklahoma as one of eight sisters, Barbara is survived by three children, two sisters, two grand children, two great grand children, and countless nephews and nieces. Barbara attended college at New Mexico's Highlands University, where she studied biology and chemistry. She played on the girls basketball team, was a cheerleader and member of Sigma Sigma Sigma sorority, and was elected to the Homecoming Court during her freshman year.
Throughout her lifetime, Barbara’s professional career included being a homemaker, executive secretary, massage therapist, stress management teacher, and realtor.
A private memorial will be held for immediate family.
The family requests in lieu of flowers, please make donations to Barbara's favorite charities: the TRTIA, or The Radiant Peace Foundation International, Inc.
