Barbara R Cochran's Obituary
Barbara R. Cochran (85) was born on December 23, 1930 in Lowell Massachusetts to Edith and Sherman Smith. Barbara passed away on Thursday, February 11, 2016 at Morton Plant Hospital due to having enough of medical treatments. Barbara was a colon cancer survivor and one tough cookie even when life handed her random crumbs. Barbara is survived by her daughters Susan Onativa of St. Cloud, Sandy Cochran of St. Petersburg (son Michael A. Cochran passed 7/1988) grandson David Milburn of St. Cloud, great granddaughter Mindy Mae Milburn of St. Cloud and her sister Ann Smith of Largo. Barbara was married to Merlin A. Cochran (passed 3/1981) and came to Florida in 1959 to settle in Clearwater where Merlin was an auto mechanic and Barbara was a bookkeeper for the Bank of Clearwater, Gulf Bank, Nations Bank and Bank of America from where she retired and settled in Largo. She loved her cats, crafts, Dopey, Dumbo and QVC. There will be no viewing or service as per her request. In lieu of flowers the family requests that you make donations to Lighthouse for the Blind, SPCA or the American Cancer Society.
