Barbara A. Peters' Obituary
Peters, Barbara Ann69, of Clearwater, Florida passed away on April 6th, 2011. Born in Gary, Indiana she was the daughter of George and Loretta Kepshire. Barbara was a life-long resident of Gary and Crown Point until moving to Florida to be closer to her son Michael and grandkids in 2007. She had worked for US Steel in Gary for 31 years before retiring in November of 2000. Even though transplanting to Florida late in her life, she held the Region close to heart and reflected on her times "Back in Indiana." Barbara is survived by her son Michael (Ania) Peters of Tarpon Springs, Florida and grandchildren Cody, Courtney, Zosia and her brother George (Susie) Kepshire of Merrillville. A memorial service will be held at 9am on Tuesday April 26th at St Mark Catholic Church in Gary, Indiana followed by a funeral mass at 10am and Interment service at 11:30 am at Mount Mercy Cemetery in Gary, Indiana.
