Barbara Ann Rose's Obituary
Barbara A. Rose (70) of Clearwater died on May 13, 2012 after a brief illness. She leaves her long time friend, Katherine Sinnott of Clearwater and Venice, as well as many close friends. Barbara was born in Brunswick, ME to Joseph and Dorothy Darling Namiotko. She received an undergraduate degree from Eastern Nazerene College and a Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Connecticut. Barbara worked professionally in hospitals, agencies, and managed care companies in Massachusetts, Maine, and Florida. Her most recent position for the past four years was as a Case Manager with Aetna. Barbara loved camping, especially in the Keys, relaxing in Venice, and boating and kayaking. Motorcycle and bike riding were a passion, along with caring for her animals.A celebration of Barbara's life will be held at the convenience of the family. Those wishing to honor Barbara may contribute to the Humane Society of Pinellas, Clearwater, in her memory.
