Barbara Kathleen Ruggiero, 88, died in the Suncoast Hospice Care Center, Palm Harbor, Florida on Monday, March 23, 2015. She was born in Webster, South Dakota but moved to Portland Oregon as a child. She graduated from Franklin H Read Obituary

May Barbara's memory be eternal. Vincent, I would see you with your wife often at Pacifica and saw first hand the love and care that you would give to Barbara. Bringing in the music and her favorite "pecan pie". I remember the smile that you were able to get from Barbara one day and the joy that it brought to you. I hope that Barbara is at peace now but I know that you have lost your special love. Keep writing your articles on caring for our loved ones that have dementia. You were so kind and helpful to me while I was caring for my mother, Despina, and for that I am forever grateful. Mom has been gone a year now and I still miss her so very much.
