IN 1958, BARRY AND I WERE IN THE 8TH GRADE TOGETHER AT MIDDLE SCHOOL IN WHITESBORO N.Y. WE ALSO BOTH ATTENDED CATECHISM AT ST
PAULS CATHOLIC SCHOOL . BARRY GAVE ME MY FIRST CHARM BRACELET FOR MY BIRTHDAY IN 8TH GRADE...WE TALKED ON THE LANDLINE PHONE EVERY NIGHT. SHARING MANY EVENTS, BARRY, MYSELF AND MARY LYNN COWBURN WERE LIKE A TRIO IN THOSE DAYS. I WILL NEVER FORGET HIM. HE WILL ALWAYS BE IN MY MEMORY AND IN MY PRAYERS.
To the family of Barry Knamn: My name is Lynne ( McGhee) Babin. Barry was my very best friend at Parkway jr. High in Whitesboro, N.Y. He gave me a charm bracelet for my 12th birthday. We went to St. Paul's Catholic Church together. I remember he had asthma and was almost a head shorter than me. Our other best friend was Mary Lynne Cowburn. The three of us hung out. I cared souch for Barry and for many many years, I tried to locate him to no avail.The strangest thing is I lived in Spring Hill, Fla at the time of his passing and never knew til Feb. 10th 2023 that we lived close. I am so sorry for your loss and I have the best memories of my friend.
