What sweet memories I have of Bea over many years as a friend and fellow quilter. Bea was a delightful, kind and talented woman who could charm anyone. Quilter's Crossing held their first quilt show in mid March 1988 at First United Methodist Church in downtown Clearwater. The day was beautiful, full coverage on the front page of the Upper Pinellas Times brought in droves of people and we overflowed the venue! Our 1,000 programs soon ran out with the 2,500+ crowd. What should we do? Bea to the rescue. She encouraged attendees to recycle their programs with her beautiful smile and southern charm saved the day! Bea may be gone, but certainly not forgotten.
