Betty Jo Croft's Obituary
It is with a heavy heart we announce the passing of Betty Croft. She had battled kidney disease for over a decade and that combined with surgery complications took her from us on April 24th, 2022. She was born in Tampa, FL on February 24th, 1957, to Ross & Ova (Fleming) Croft, and lived in the Tampa/St. Pete area her entire life. Betty loved being on the water, either fishing, relaxing, or tubing down the Rainbow River. She is survived by her son, Justin Fletcher and his wife Jenna, grandchildren Gwenevere and Jensen, and sisters Rhonda, Suzie, Donna, and Debbie. There will be a celebration of life in one her favorite places on earth, Rainbow River in Dunnellon, on or around June 25th.
There was never anyone who met her who she treated like a stranger or that she didn’t make laugh. She will be missed.
