Beverly Sandy's Obituary
Beverly Ann Sandy (Stevenson), 87, of Dunedin, Florida, passed away on November 24, 2025.
Born on August 30, 1938, in Monongahela, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of John and Emma Stevenson.
Beverly is survived by her husband, Hugh Sandy; her children James Sandy, Shelley Sweda, Bonny Sandy, Rhonda Jacobsen, and Delana Sandy; and her brother John “Buzzy” Stevenson. She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Terry Sandy, and by her sisters Wanda and Linda.
Creative, warm, and endlessly patient, Beverly found joy in arts and crafts and was especially gifted in oil painting, a talent she shared generously with friends and family. She loved animals and nature, and her home reflected her passions with her cherished collections of gorillas and pelicans.
A proud supporter of her hometown teams, Beverly was a devoted fan of the Pittsburgh Pirates and Pittsburgh Steelers, cheering them on through every season.
Beverly will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her creativity, and the deep love she held for her family. Her presence will be profoundly missed and forever treasured.
