Bing Santiano's Obituary
Bing Santiano, 82, of Dunedin, Florida, passed away on Saturday December 9th, 2023. Bing was born in the Philippines in March 1941 to Dominador and Nenita Santiano. He was the 3rd born of 9 children. After being sent to Seminary school at the age of 11, he was ordained a priest. He was a priest for many years until he moved to the US and then met his first wife, Olive. They were married in 1975 and they went on to have 1 daughter, Melissa. Bing and Olive were owners/administrators of 2 successful assisted living facilities in Clearwater and Hudson, Florida. Bing was very active in the local Filipino community of Tampa Bay. He was one of the original Board of Directors of the Philippine Cultural Foundation, Inc (PCFI). He later served a term as Chairman of the Board of PCFI. Bing was also a member of the Philippine Choral Group where he sang bass for many years. He always enjoyed tending to his garden at home, fishing, and going to the casino. Bing was able to find love again after Olive passed away of cancer in 2016. He is survived by his current wife Grace; his daughter Melissa, son-in-law David, and 2 granddaughters, Olivia (5) and Arabella (4). Bing will always be remembered for his quiet demeanor and love for his culture and family. The wake service will be held at Moss Feaster Funeral Home in Dunedin, FL on Wednesday, December 13th from 2-6pm. The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Largo, FL on Thursday, December 14th at 11am with reception to follow at the church hall.
