Bonnie McCarver's Obituary
Bonnie McCarver, longtime resident of Upshur County, passed away peacefully in a Florida hospital Monday, December 19, 2016. She has been living in Florida for the past nine years with her daughter, Jan McCarver Howard, her only survivor.
Miss Bonnie, as she is affectionately called, taught school for 18 years. She taught at Coffeeville, Harmony, and Van Horn. She was a longtime member of the Coffeeville Baptist Church where she enjoyed playing piano and organ.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Odis Van McCarver.
A gathering will be held from 10 am to 11 am with a celebration of life beginning at 11 am on Saturday, January 21st at Moss Feaster Funeral Home in Clearwater, Florida.
A memorial service at Coffeeville Baptist Church will be announced soon. Arrangements are not finalized at this time.
