Bradley Albert Mazelofsky's Obituary
Bradley A. Mazelofsky “Brad”, age 58, of New Port Richey, FL passed away suddenly on Monday February 23, 2015. Born on November 26, 1956 in Baltimore City, MD. He formerly resided in Gamber and Westminster, MD. Brad was a natural born leader and a self-employed entrepreneur for most of his life. He also proudly served his country in the US ARMY National Guard for several years. He was a loving family man and the Husband of Carmel Mazelofsky of New Port Richey, FL for over 35 beautiful years; Brad was the proud Father to Daughter and Son-In-Law, Christy and John Harrison III of Dunedin, FL and Samantha Mazelofsky of New Port Richey, FL. The pride and joy of his life occurred when he transformed from Brad into “Pop-Pop” for his five grandchildren Grace, Belle, Mary Beth, Jay, and Jack. Pop-Pop could often be found rushing to get to see his grandchildren with donuts, cake or some other sugary treat in hand that he knew they would love (and keep them up half the night!). Sunday was always about the 3 F’s for Brad. Family, Football and Food. He would show up early (many times real early) and leave late wearing his beloved Ravens gear with a full belly from Granny’s or Christy’s family dinner. At the end of the day we will all remember Brad as being an admirable person that would always crack a joke (many times an “R” rated one) to put a smile on your face, A Good Samaritan that would lend you a helping hand ( even when others may have turned their back), riding Harley’s (see before grandkids), being a diehard Baltimore Ravens fan (take a look around) , but most of all we will remember him for being a dedicated family man that put their needs ahead of his own. Brad also leaves behind several brothers and sisters including Brenda Keen , Sharon Seipp , Helen Barnes , William Barnes, Robert Barnes, and Dennis Barnes . He was also survived by many in-laws; cousins; nieces; nephews; other family members; and friends. He was predeceased by Albert Felix Mazelofsky (Father); Marian Barnes (Mother); William Earl Barnes (Father);Rick Sherman (Brother); Michael Barnes (Brother).. The service for family and friends will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8 p.m., Friday, February 27, 2015 at Moss Feaster Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 1320 Main Street, Dunedin, FL 34698. Additional viewing will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2015 from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m.
