Brendan Richard Saunders' Obituary
Brendan Richard Saunders, age 49, passed away from natural causes at his home in Largo, Florida on Wednesday, March 28, 2018. A beloved husband, father, sibling, and son, he will be remembered for his love of family, music, cars, and electronics. After graduating from Clearwater Central Catholic High School, he earned his Doctorate in Pharmacy from Nova Southeastern University. He worked as a pharmacist in Pinellas County, Jacksonville, and Kissimmee before health issues forced him to leave the field. He recently returned to his Catholic upbringing, attending St. Catherine of Sienna in Clearwater, FL. He was prepared to meet his Lord and Savior.
He is survived by his wife, Dawn Marie Saunders, whom he loved for 30 years, and his son, Richard Charles Saunders, age 19. He is also survived by his parents, Richard and Maureen Saunders of Greenville, North Carolina, his sisters, Danielle Saunders Walsh (Stephen Walsh) of Greenville, NC and Gabrielle Joy Corley (J. Scott Corley) of Smyrna, GA. His mother-in-law Nancybelle Duffy and sisters-in law Lorie Jean Duffy and Nancy Lee Duffy, all of South Pasadena, FL also survive him. Uncle Brendan was loved by nieces Kamryn Walsh, Hailee Duffy and Reilee Duffy, and nephews Cooper Corley and Christian Walsh.
