I am proud to have served along side Brian as officers in the US Army, FLARNG. He was a great officer and a great person who will be missed by the many who have served with him in the mission to protect our country. Rest in Peace fellow soldier.
I worked with Brian for some time in 2017-2018. He was always so kind and had such a calm and relaxing attitude. I will never forget him, and how well he treated those around him! My deepest sympathy to his family. - Sarah

I worked daily with Brian for the better part of a year and we became friends outside of work. Brian even officiated at my wedding. I never met a kinder, more thoughtful person. My wife Diane and I are devastated by the news.
Brian and I only got a year together in band and sort of lost touch after that. However, he was an amazing mentor to me as a freshman - always kind, smiling and laughing. The world needs more people like Brian in it.
I remember being in Atlanta in 1999 for the BOA regional and being pretty upset that we did not make the finals. Without missing a beat Brian looks at me and says "It's not that bad. We could always be back in the classroom instead of on these awesome trips>" He always had the best perspective on things.
