Carla Stack's Obituary
Carla Stack passed away peacefully on September 18, 2021. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She loved the beach, travelling with her husband all over the world. She worked 35 years as an ER nurse and was one of the first women accredited firefighters in Illinois. She swam competitively, and spent countless hours at the ballfields with her kids. She loved fiercely and her family was the most important thing in the world to her. She is predeceased by her parents Audrey and Norman Hawthorne; brother, Bill; sister, Ruth. Survivors include her husband of 38 years, Edward; daughters, Sara, Emily (Chris), and Molly (Taylor); sisters, Mary, April (Rich) and Patty.
