Carmela Troina passed away peacefully on February 15, 2025, surrounded by the love of family. Born on November 13, 1933, in Sicily, Italy, she was a devoted Catholic whose faith guided her throughout her life.
In 1958 at the age of 25, Carmela married her childhood friend, Nicolo Troina, and together they embarked on a journey to the United States, determined to achieve the American dream. Through hard work, resilience, and love, they built a beautiful life, always putting family first.
Carmela was a caring and giving woman who valued her family above all else. She dedicated her life to providing for her children all the things she never had, ensuring their happiness and success. Her warmth, generosity, and unwavering devotion as a mother and grandmother will forever be cherished.
She is survived by her beloved son, Benedeto; her grandson, Nicholas; her granddaughter, Chelsea; and many dear loved ones who will always hold her close in their hearts.
Carmela’s deep faith and boundless love for her family will be her lasting legacy. She will be profoundly missed but never forgotten.
