Carol Ann WingfieldJune 1, 1944 – January 30, 2011Carol Ann Wingfield, 66, passed away on January 30, 2011. She was born in Pittsburgh, PA to Doris Jean and Charles Marcus. She grew up in the Mid-Atlantic region with her sister, Janice Marcus and brother Gary Leibrich. She married Douglas Cloud Wingfield and had 3 children, "Buddy", "Sissy" and Dori. Together with her mother, she moved her family from Fairfax, VA to Seminole, FL in 1975 to raise her family in a sunny climate. Carol Ann worked 23 years for the Federal government including the Dunedin Post Office and moved to Dunedin, FL in 1982. She was a popular Dunedin community resident and loved to host gatherings of all kinds including BBQs, card games and her beloved annual Christmas party. She enjoyed boating, fishing, car racing, Christmas time, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and having as much fun as possible. Her perpetual positive outlook, and loving, gentle and sweet spirit will remain with us all forever. She is survived by her husband Steve "Coach" Miner, Dunedin, Fl; a daughter, Cindy Reddaway, Safety Harbor, Fl; a son, Douglas Wingfield and 6 grandchildren, Jillian Rutkoski, Jamie Rutkoski, Joseph Reddaway, Tiffanie Wingfield, Ryan Wingfield and Nicole Wingfield. She was predeceased by her daughter, Doris Ann Wingfield in 1977. A "Celebration of Life" memorial will be held at Moss Feaster Funeral Home, 1320 Main St., Dunedin, FL on Saturday, February 5, 2011 at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to the Dunedin Mease Morton Plant Mease Foundation, 1200 Druid Road South, Clearwater, Florida, 33756 "in recognition of the Dunedin Mease CCU nurses." Arrangements under the direction of Moss Feaster Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Dunedin, FL.
