Carol A Pless' Obituary
Carol A. Pless, 81, of Largo, Florida, died peacefully on September 3, 2016, at Largo Medical Center, Largo, Florida. Born September 11, 1934 in Detroit Michigan, she is predeceased by her parents, George and Eva (Keller) Holly of Wayne, Michigan and her late husband of 44 years, David Pless Sr. of Largo, Florida. Carol relocated to Florida with her husband David in 1961 to raise their family and enjoy the Florida sunshine.
Carol was a secretary in Largo, Florida for the Eckerd Drug Company from where she retired. She then joined with her husband, David, in the ownership and operation of the family trucking business. Carol enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, laughing and traveling.
Survivors include her son David (Kendra) Pless Jr. of St. Petersburg, Florida, daughter, Carolyn (Jeff) Bragdon of St. Petersburg, Florida, granddaughter, Heather (Adam) Wood of St. Petersburg, Florida, grandsons Justin and Jared Bragdon of St. Petersburg, Florida, great granddaughter Cassandra Wood of St. Petersburg, Florida, sister Lois Gorecki of Clearwater, Florida, brother George Holly of Albuquerque, New Mexico, sister Mary Long of Largo, Florida and many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Thursday, September 8, 2016, 5:00 – 8:00pm at Moss-Feaster Funeral Home, 693 South Belcher Rd, Clearwater, Florida. Visitation will be held Saturday, September 10, 2016, 10:00 – 10:45am, at New Testament Baptist Church, 2050 South Belcher Rd, Largo, Florida. Service will follow at 11:00am on Saturday, September 10, 2016, also at New Testament Baptist Church. Reverend Matthew Trill will be officiating. A graveside service will follow at Largo City Cemetery, 1232 Jasper Street, Largo, Fl. 33770
