Smith, Carol A. 70 passed away Wed. March 23,3016 after many years of illness. Born in Scranton, Pa. , and moved to Clearwater with family at an early age. Retired from GTE and Pinellas County Sheriff Office. Survived by husband Richmond Gardner, sons Christopher and James. Sisters Barbara Plant, Elaine Lancaster, Debra Malina and Brother Walter Schultz, granddaughter Evangeline, grandsons Zachary, and Thomas.
