Carole Fancil's Obituary
Carole Dawn Lombard Fancil, of Largo, Florida, passed away at 1:35A.M. on Sunday, December 14, 2025, with her beloved family by her side.
Carole was born December 2, 1946, in Ft. Wayne, Indiana to Robert and Evelyn Lombard. She married Maurice James Fancil, Jr. on December 19, 1964, and had three sons, James, Ronald, and William Fancil. Carole worked for Neighborly Senior Services serving her community for over 35 years. She thoroughly loved her job as a driver and transportation dispatcher. She brought joy to all of those she worked with and those she helped with their transportation needs. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, pets, and had an unwavering love for the lottery and pressing her luck on the slots in Las Vegas, Biloxi, and locally at Hard Rock Casino.
Surviving are her loving husband, Maurice James Fancil, Jr., her son, Ronald Fancil and his wife, Shawn Fancil; her sister, Maureen Andrade and her husband, Bill Andrade; her brother, Richard Lombard; her sister, Juanita "Dolly" Diaz, and her only grandchildren, Shelby and Carlie Fancil and many nieces and nephews she dearly loved.
Carole was proceeded by her mother, Evelyn Lombard; her father, Robert Lombard; and her two sons, James Fancil and William Fancil; her two sisters, Sharon Lane and Fritzy Kelch Fry, and her three brothers, Robert C. Lombard, Doug Lombard, and Jack "Bill" Lombard.
Carole was genuinely an angelic presence in our lives and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
