Thinking of you Uncle Bill, Simone, Will & Stephen. I have fond memories of Aunt Carole taking Kathy Farrell and I on rides in her convertible to the Craig School playground. She was also the cool aunt who gave me a make-up bag for my 7th birthday complete with lipstick and nail polish! She gave Kathy and I daisy headbands to wear as flower girls in her wedding to Uncle Bill in our backyard. She always knew how to make little children feel special!

I'll always cherish the time I had with you all in the Virgin Islands when I was a teenager. I'll especially remember Carole's joyful spirit and love for the Lord. It makes me smile to know that she's not only in the presence of the Lord, but also with her brother Tom and sister Lee. We can take comfort in the fact that we will be with them all one day, too.

Many years of fond memories. Met Carol when she came to Alaska to teach for a year in the 60's and have kept in touch ever since. I am sure the Lord met her with wide open arms and said "Carol welcome home, Great job done, Thank you". May God continue to bless her family.

I will miss my Aunt Carole immensely. She had a wonderful laugh, smile and spirit. I enjoyed her sense of humor, sense of adventure and genuine caring. She was a wonderful aunt- full of kindness and love and care. I only hope she knew how much I love her.
I wish I could be there tomorrow and Thursday to hug my uncle and cousins.

Offering my heartfelt sympathies for Bill, Simone, William and Stephen. For Celeste, Sebastion, Peyton, Carrie, Brady, Zoe and all the extended family at this time of Caroles passing.

Carole made me feel very welcome into the Summer family for my short visits to her beloved STT and their great home overlooking Magens Bay, another of her favourite places.

While I did only get to know her and Bill over a short while their love for each other, their family and their faith is obvious for all to see. This is the memory that will remain with me the longest.

Thank you Carole it was a delight to have met you.

I’ll be thinking of you all on Thursday, wishing I could be there to offer my sympathies and support in person as Carole did indeed make an impression on my life.

I remember Carole teaching the Navajo children at St. Anne's in Arizona. She was a natural, a natural teacher, a natural person, no wonder she connected so well with these children. She saw all children as the "Lord's kids." And she would do what she could to make their lives better. She became that person the Creator made her to be. She lived till she died! BJ

Carole was my aunt. She was always interested in hearing what children had to say, she taught many fun musical games to me at her VI Violin Camp and in New York State. She had an amazing sense of adventure and loved her family fiercely. I can't believe she is gone and will treasure the memory of her warm smile always.
