I had the honor of befriending Caroline through my father who also lives at Aston Gardens. She ‘s had both Thanksgiving and Christmas meals at my house, to which she enjoyed immensely. She was such a lovely person, and my husband and I enjoyed our conversations with her. She had such an interesting life. We are grateful to have known her. I had her for Thanksgiving dinner this past year. What was interesting is that I gave her Christmas presents to her on that day. She insisted on opening them right then and there. I asked her if she wanted to wait to open them on Christmas Day…perhaps she knew?? Sweet memories of our time together will stay with us both forever. We already miss her. Caroline, I hope you are swimming with dolphins in heaven. Be at peace! Wish we had more time with you, but the time we had, we will cherish forever!
