Tommy: Your Mom was always a very bright spot for me, even in the dark days after Karen died. All these years later I can still hear that great laugh she had and I wish I had her great attitude toward life. I feel really proud and lucky to have known her. -- Mike
To Tom, Judy and families,We were very sad to hear of your mom's passing into the arms of the Lord. We have fond memories of our Girl Scout experiences of your mother as our leader, especially our trip to Washington D.C. We, both of us, still have our black and white photos (with white gloves on all our hands) meeting Senator Case at the Capitol ... this being for many of us our first trip away from home without our parents! We loved scouting all these years because of her and became leaders ourselv es. She was always so kind and made the trip so memorable and fun! She was the best of neighbors - always willing to help out with a smile and a hearty laugh! When we drive down Malaprdis Road we will always remember the pink welcoming home! To Carolyn's family, I am sorry for you loss. We have lived next door to Carolyn for just over a year and it was always a special treat to run into her the mailbox. We will always remember your Mom's great smile and laugh. Those so long ago days in Girl Scouts bring back great memories. She was always a good friend to my mother, Alice Panasik. They spoke recently and I'm glad for that. The pink house was always a great place for the girls to gather. So many fun memories! New Jersey will always remember her. To Judy, Tom and Family, Carolyn was my ex-mother-in-law and I was married to her son Tom. She was the best mother-in-law anyone could have. No one could ever take her place. Always smiling and those beautiful blue eyes always sparkling like blue sapphires. I have never seen anyone so giving and willing to help everyone.
