Catharine's Legacy: Mom's (Catharine's) true and lasting legacy is the wonderful family that she and her loving and devoted husband of 63 years, Dad (Thomas) created, formed, nurtured, raised, educated, supported, and most of all loved with a selfless, undying and blessed love. Mom's devotion to God, the Catholic Church, her husband and her family is the most precious gift that she gave to us individually and as a family, her family. She also left this legacy to future generations of our family. As Mom stated in the closing paragraph of her auto-biography: "I have always believed in the quotation: There are two things that we can give our children. One is Roots and the other is Wings." Mom, you certainly gave us the sturdiest Roots, and gave us the strongest Wings for our journey through life. Thank You Mom. You most certainly had the sturdiest Roots and have earned your Wings to everlasting life. Eternal rest grant unto Catharine Oh Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May she rest in peace. Amen.
