I am so sorry for the recent passing of Cathy. As you both know she was always the sunshine in so many people's lives in both the mortgage banking industry and within her circle of family and friend. She certainly was loved by all and was so compassionate and caring to all she met. Cathy was a very special friend to the David Cunningham Family and was always there for everyone who knew her.
Please know that Cathy has now finally reached her heavenly home and is enjoying Paige and her mother and her family who have gone before her. May the fond memories of Cathy and your time together assist you both in the mourning and healing process.

I was shocked today when I read my email from MBAC about Cathy.. I know Cathy was always involved in the Charlotte Mortgage Bankers and the MBAC as well. She was a very active member and she will be missed greatly.

Cathy Russell meant the world to me and believed in me and was a great mentor. When I first met Cathy she said she loved “what a wonderful world” was her favorite song and she wanted it sung at her funeral and said to me “is that crazy” … to which I replied “not Al all, it had just been sung at my dad’s funeral by a dear friend who can impersonate Louis Armstrong. And we surprised her at one of the Harwood Russell Christmas parties with him singing it to her. Cathy was full of life and she will be dearly missed. My condolences to her family - she loved like no other person I know and talked about her family. I will be praying for you all.
