My mother, Danae's cousin and family, attended their wedding and the reception in Havana. I was a kid and though I have no pics, I still remember their happiness and that smile that characterized Queto/Marty. We reconnected in Florida many years later as if time had not elapsed....He was such a positive, caring advisor, knowledgeable counselor and quality time giver ! His (their) zest for life was beyond compare. Our condolences to his whole family, his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. May God give you comfort in the memories you will always treasure. Rest in peace dear Queto. Hortensia, the Louro-Bernal, and Morales-Louro families.
I never knew Marty, so you're wondering why I'm writing. I never new his kids, excepting Neal, who is a very close friend. The more I've heard about Neal's dad, the more I wish I had taken the time to get to know him. I could tell, Neal had learned many things from Marty, and one was to be handy and develop skills to be independent. Neal was very generous, as I'm sure Marty was. Marty had lived a very full life and had a wonderful family. That was clear. Rest in peace.

We were very lucky to have Marty in our lives for the last 20 years. He touched our lives in a way we never expected. I will always remember his smile and the way he would greet me with a kiss - “let me hug your neck” 😘. We love him and will miss him always. Hasta manana Marty……until we meet again. Melissa and Vern
