Charlene J Kennedy's Obituary
Charlene Jeanette Kennedy passed away peacefully on March 20, 2026, at the age of 81. She was the beloved wife of Kenneth Wayne Kennedy.
Charlene was born on April 27, 1944, in Chicago, Illinois, to the late Leonard Snejberg and Jeanette Kalwas. She dedicated many years of her career as a customer service representative in the insurance industry, working for Allstate Insurance Company, Bic Corp, and Bealls Inc. Charlene was a devout Catholic whose faith was an important part of her life. She was a woman who found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved cruising and spending time playing cards with family and friends. She enjoyed cooking and baking and also had a fondness for mini-golf. Above all, Charlene will be remembered as the best Nana anyone could ask for and leaving behind treasured memories for all her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Sonny Snejberg.
Charlene is survived by her loving husband, Kenneth Wayne Kennedy; her daughter, Jennifer Lynn Jager; her two sons, Richard Alan Jager and William Justin Kennedy. She is also survived by her sister, Lynn A. Chang (Randy Chang), and her loving grandchildren: Brandon Allen Krambeck (Cailee M Krambeck) Haley Nichole Eden (Jonathan A Eden) and Blake Alan Smith – Jager. Charlene also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Uterine Cancer Center in Charlene’s memory.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 22, from 1:00pm - 4:00pm at Moss Feaster Funeral Home, 1320 Main Street, Dunedin, Florida. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
