Charles A. Kerekes' Obituary
Kerekes, Charles, passed away on Memorial Day, May 30th under the care of Suncoast Hospice. He was the son of Charles and Catherine Kerekes. Born February 9, 1925 in Ft. Pierce, FL he served in the Navy during WWII as an EOD technician and later graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in Marketing. He married Betty Wehinger and was blessed with three sons, Steven, Joseph, and James. He worked as a sales representative throughout his career, culminating with 18 years with Castrol Motor Oil until his retirement. Charles was preceded in death by his wife Betty and son Steven. He is survived by sons Joseph (Kandi, deceased), James (Laurie), grandsons Grant, Andrew, Alex (Cailyn), Matthew, and many nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Sunday 2-4 at funeral home. The funeral mass will be Monday 10:30AM at St. Cecelia Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Suncoast Hospice.
