He moved to Maryland a few years later where he became a father to his son Eric. Charlie would eventually move to Delaware where he met his wife Becky and her daughter Alicia in 1998. Charlie and Becky lived in Salisbury, MD then Glen Burnie, MD until 2014 when they moved to their paradise of Clearwater, FL. Charlie loved spending time with his family and friends. He was always up for a cooking challenge and some cornhole. On occasion he loved to have a cigar and tell a good joke (if he could remember the punchline). To the family he was funny and a very cool uncle. He was kind to everyone he met and loved instantly. He took an interest in people and gave the best hugs. Charlie was the baby brother with a big heart, he was always a gentleman and great friend. Charlie enjoyed sports, especially his hockey team, the Islanders, but he also loved to take long walks and fish. Charles Lloyd Menke passed away peacefully on August 22nd, 2021. The world was a little nicer with him in it and he will be dearly missed by his wife, family and friends.
Charlie is survived by his wife of 15 years, Becky; daughter, Alicia (Brendon); son, Eric; brothers, Hank (Jayne), Tom (Joanne), and sister, Joyce; Becky's family including, mother-in-law, Fran (Charlie); sisters-in-law, Shelly (Parker), Erin (Marty), and nieces, nephews, and great- nieces and -nephews.
