Charles B Wilcox Jr's Obituary
Charles Buck Wilcox, Jr. was born in June 1939 in Kansas City, MO. He lived with his mother, Leona Mae (nee Burns), as the family was stationed in El Paso, TX, and La Jolla, CA while his father, Charles Buck Wilcox, served in World War 2 in Okinawa. When they returned to Kansas City, Charles became an avid bodybuilder and boxer when he was young, and he loved working with his hands, leading to a satisfying career as a truck driver and diesel mechanic. He met the love of his life, Mary Helen Grosvenor, when they were 22. They were wed in 1962 and remained married for 61 years. When they were 30, they adopted a baby girl, Lisa Diane Wilcox, who provided them with a grandson, Gerard David Algie. Charles is preceded in death by both of his parents and his loving wife, Mary, who passed away in 2023. He leaves behind his two brothers, John Larry (Sherry) and Carl, as well as his daughter, Lisa (Jay), and grandson, Gerard.
