I'm so sorry for the loss of your sweet mother. She was so dear and kind and I enjoyed chatting with her in person two times each year when she and Mr. Eckert were traveling through our town back and forth from Florida to Canada. I'm so thankful I got to know Mrs. Eckert and could call her a friend. Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

We are grateful for the life and testimony of Elaine. Our church has many fond memories of kind hugs, bright smiles, and singing many old hymns together. I can still hear her voice sharing some encouraging Bible verse. Our children will never forget our sailing days together with "Grandpa and Grandma" Eckert! Until we meet again in Glory!!
