I attended Calvary Open Bible Church with Chet and Alma for several years, and with Chet for a few more years after Alma went home to be with the Lord. Whenever I saw Chet, no matter what he was doing or where he was, he had a smile on his face. He had such a beautiful, sweet spirit, and was always willing to do whatever he could to help around the church. He is in a better place now, happy and pain-free! I was blessed to call him my friend and brother in Christ.
I was blessed to have Chet and Alma for my father-in-law and mother-in-law. Chet gave me his support for almost fifty years through very sad times and very happy times. He has always been a very loving Grandfather to my son, Mark Hoffman and his wife, Akemi. He has also been a loving Great-Grandfather to Christina Hoffman. I will remember Chet with lots of love and many special memories.Sharon Boucher
Dear Grandpa, you are going to be missed so much. I have not only been your granddaughter-in-law but your care giver and you were a man with such a sweet spirit and always had a smile on your face. I will miss our trips to publix and to the barber shop. Keep an eye on me and Rodney and know that I love and miss you so much!
May Chet rest in peace. I worked worked with Chet for years and always enjoyed our time together. Chet reminded me so much of my father that passes in 1985.
