Christopher Robin Mastridge's Obituary
How do you describe the events and accomplishments of a lifetime? Chris saw the world through clearer eyes than most of us can ever possess. He saw the marginalized, the hurt, the damaged, and the heartbroken; but he saw them not as disposable society. He saw their beauty through their flaws. He accepted their brokenness without question, and he helped them heal. Since his death, I've had countless messages, from people who've told me that thanks to my husband, they're still alive. They've married. They have children, and they've found joy. He helped them to find their path; the one that existed inside themselves. He helped them to heal the broken places, and to find a way out of whatever darkness they had been trapped in. Not many people can truly say this, but my husband was a superhero. Not a flashy Marvel wonder boy, but a real, mean streets fighter, battling every day for the souls of the lost. I'm just deeply grateful, that he brought me along for the ride.
Christopher served in the US Navy. He was a licensed Mental Health Counselor. He was a member of Light of Christ Catholic Church in Clearwater, Florida. He loved driving his beloved Camaro, fixing anything and always ready to help others. He was preceded in death by his parents, Angelo and Marjorie Finn Mastridge and sister, Christine Ann Mastridge. Christopher is survived by his loving wife, Kimberley;
daughters, Dominique A. Mastridge and Gaetanina C. Kozlowski; granddaughter, Dominique (Mia) Kozlowski; siblings, Benjamin, Michael, Melissa and Beth; nieces and nephews Samantha, Jessica, Amanda, Samantha, Danielle, Ryan, Georgia, Eric and Veronica.
Memorial donations can be made to the American Heart Association.
