CJ Finch's Obituary
C.J. Finch passed away on February 8th, 2019 in Clearwater, Florida at age 88.C.J. was born April 20th, 1930 to Virgil and Clara Finch in Quinton, Oklahoma. He is survived by his sister Claudine Lakey, his wife of 64 years, Ouida Christene Finch, daughters Donna Lewis and Pam Smith and his 6 Grand children,Brandon Lewis, Blake Lewis, Dustin Finch, Jeffrey Robinson, Parker Smith and Kala Smith.
He was preceded in death by son Stephen Finch age 60 on Feb 5th, 2017, Father Virgil Finch, Mother, Clara Finch, Sisters, Mildred Hansen, Oneta Martin and Brother Melvin Finch. C.J. was on active duty with the Army from 1951-1953 where he was stationed in Honolulu Hawaii. After returning home he married Christine Graves and they began their family. He enjoyed his career of 31 years as a mail carrier for the United States Post Office. After retiring from the post office at age 60 he needed to keep busy and started work as a courier for the Banks in Panama City, Florida and worked until he was 80 years old.
He loved fishing and golfing and visiting with family. C.J. enjoyed the simple pleasures of life.
