There are many things that I think of when I think of Clare, her devotion to God, her love of her family and definitely her pride in her grandchildren, but the one that stands out to me and means the most to me is the following.
When Clare worked at The Bay Area Pregnancy Center she was generally in her office which was located by the front door when I arrived on my workdays. Clare always had a cheerful morning or afternoon greeting for everyone that entered the building. Because of Clare's warm greetings my daughter, Victoria, was ready with a "Hello, Clare! How are you?" conversation. They were buddies. Victoria sat between "Teacher", Marsha, and Clare during meetings at the conference table. I will never forget the kindness and love that Clare gave to my daughter. We do and will continue to miss Clare's morning salutations and her presence at BAPC. We will keep her family in our prayers as we look forward to a heavenly reunion some day.
